Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this? My doctor has suggested that since my first round of RA medication didn't work that I go on it for the second round and get my strength back. I've made calls and it's confusing at best...and I'm in insurance lol. I'd love to hear everyone elses experiences. Thanks, Sarah |

What I'm worried about is if they deny it. My doc said they won't but you never know... |

Thanks, I didn't think about needing to give my permission. I'll make sure to call them and get them what they need. ![]() |

Yep, as long as your doctor approves it, it won't get denied. I've had three surgeries and have used it with two of them. Depending on your company's policy you may have to burn up all your sick leave (which in my case includes vacation time since we have one "PTO pool" that we pull from) but after that it kicks in. It was great to get some income while I was recuperating!

I still haven't heard back and I did burn up what little vacation I had. I'm glad to hear that I won't get denied. I've been working at companies with quality insurance and always paid extra for the STD so I'm glad it's there. |
