eShakti - has anyone used their custom service?

eShakti offers clothes in sizes up to 3x, but also will customize a garment's sizing to your specifications, so I assume that means they will go larger than that. I love their clothes and am happy to pay extra for the size customization, but not if they make the shoulders huge like a linebacker or the armholes gaping, that kind of usual silliness that happens with super-sized clothes when companies don't quite "get it". So I'm wondering, has anyone here has ever used them to customize a garment's size to 5x or 6x (or really, anything larger than their standard 3x), and if so, what did you think?

I am not a size 5 or 6x but I have used custom service because I'm a short fatty. I've had a skirt shortened with no problem.

There are a couple dresses I'm lemming, so I'm thinking about asking if they can be shortened/tailored to my needs (knees?

) as well.

Give it a try, Carrie. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I've never heard of that site but just took a peek. OMG GORGEOUS things!! I would even wear some of the dresses, and I don't wear dresses!

I am wondering of when they say 100% cotton if it's woven cotton or like t-shrit cotton.

Because of the embroidery, I'd say it's a good bet that it's woven cotten, and not jersey. Woven has more structure to hold the embroidery designs, while a stretch fabric would not only be tougher to work with, but wouldn't hold the design as well.

Just guessing, though.

P.S. - I'll be calling everything a 't-shrit' now, lol. It's fun to say!
