Alec Baldwin thinks women in Hollywood are way too skinny

This article is a month old, but I didn't read it until today:

Alec Baldwin thinks he would "kill" Renee Zellweger if he had sex with her - because she is so slim.

The 51-year-old actor has criticized Hollywood actress for their slight physiques, saying he would never be able to shoot romantic scenes with most of them as he would do them serious damage.

He joked: "Women today are so skinny. If I did a love scene with them, I would crush them. If I did a love scene with Renee, I would kill her!"

See, this is the thing that bothers the shit out of me about some message boards-----the topic was on Mr. Baldwin claiming women in Hollywood are too skinny (and they are). This is a site that champions the beauty of larger women--- women ignored by HOLLYWEIRD.

But no, some folks go off the tangent and brings up his past problems with some woman he divorced and start attacking him.

Here is a man from Hollywood defying the Status Quo and yet we have women on here still complaining.

Stick with the subject, why bring up the man's past between him and his ex? My goodness, we've all had an ex boyfriend or husband in which we cussed the hell out of for pissing us off and now you want to bash him for being human? Yeah he cussed out his ex on the phone, so? That's between him and her. Do you sleep with them? Do you live with them? Damn, I hate self righetous stuck up to their ass people.

i understand where your coming from. its just that a lot of fat women don't look at it as much of a compliment because he doesn't have the character to go with. i think a lot of BBWs are past the days that they'll be happy if just any old person says something "nice" about them--which this isnt exactly. there are a lot of great guys who like us and are vocal so people are not grasping for straws as much as they used to. it would just carry a lot more weight ( pun intended ) if someone else had said it. i'mnot saying that its a comparison at all but this might illuminate my thought: did you know that hitler liked plumpers? i don't think a lot of BBWs find that a reason to hold thier heads up.

Hey Superdalisque, I'm sorry if I came off as mean in that post, but I get tired of that. I get tired of this defensive attitude from many voluptuous women. But regardless, he did make a very good observation on the problems of Hollyweird. Let's face, THEY ARE too skinny. Extremely. There needs to be more representations of women larger than a 12 or 14 in sexy roles and not as comic relief. He is right.

His character should not even be called to question. His character is judged on one fight with a family member that was recorded on the phone. It shouldn't matter--all of us have flaws. We all have cussed out a child, boyfriend, husband, sibling, mother, father, whatever.

nah i didn't take it that you were mean--just frustrated but you have to understand. for a long time people have told us we have to take what we could get just because we are fat. we'd like to have the right to pick and chose whose compliments we like or accept as well. isnt that a sign that we feel better about ourselves? i think so. it means we feel we can be just as selective as other women.
