Oh, wow, Tania. I'm in serious fashionswoon mode here.
 There is not much in this world I adore more than vintage/antique jewelry, and the fact that you know the history behind a lot of the pieces is beyond nifty. Everything is absolutely gorgeous, and looks even better when worn by you! More plz.

That is some neat stuff. Looks good on you. I do have my grandma's old wedding ring which is probably from the 18 or 1900's. I misplaced it after hubby passed in March. I had an old ring and brooch my dad had bought for my late Aunt in Italy during WWII and gave them to me after she passed. I misplaced the brooch and sadly the ring fell off my finger a few yrs back & got lost...

I'm currently getting a degree from the GIA (Gemological institute of America). Now, this isn't a gemologist degree, but it is about jewelry, metals, colored stones and diamonds.
anyway, one of my favorite units so far was about 19th and 20th c jewelry. A lot of the stuff I already knew to some extent, b/c of my own interests, but it was great to study it and the course materials had these amazing photos of great pieces. I almost drooled. |

I just now have become interested in antique jewelry and other antique items. I'm only 20, so I guess before now, it just wasn't deemed "cool" to like old things. But, over the past few months, all of a sudden, I LOVE going to antique stores and shopping flea markets. I'm not sure what has gotten into me, haha. But anyway, I love your stuff. It's beautiful! |

Those need to be polished (ss).
