Default 50% off clearance size 28 jeans on Torrid!

Just a heads up- don't know if this will help anyone at all, but I know size 28's are a little tough to come by with Torrid- well at least from what I have been told- but there are quite a few size 28 jeans on clearance at Torrid. Only the size 28's are left so if I wore that size I would jump on it!

I'm a 24/26 myself depending so no use to me, but thought this might make some shop-a-holic - such as myself's day LOL

Me and my girlfriend were trying to puzzle out why when Clearance time rolls around at plus-sized retailers the sizes that are left are always the highest and lowest and rarely anything inbetween.

We think it's because Torrid goes down to a size 12 and maybe they wouldn't even think of going in a plus-size store, and that those who might go for a size 28 might think it'll be a tiny bit too small and don't risk it or something. Who knows.

It's that way for me too. Always out of the 24's and 26's. I needed to still be a size 14. Then I could shop at more stores and get better clearance...

DITTO! Its super frustrating that usually only the 12's or the 28's are left when things are on sale! I check every time there is 50% off clearance with no luck. I guess the middle sizes are the most popular sizes unfortunately. Kinda stinks!

It sure does. The stores oughta carry more of an item in sizes like 24, 26 and middle sizes. So we won't have to deal with them being sold out...

I'm pretty sure most do, actually. Being a 22/24 is hard! I feel like everyone's my shirt size, hahaha. Does anyone else notice that 24's are like, always the first sold out??? It's (thankfully) not a matter of them being made, it's a matter of getting it before everyone else

Well I don't know about Torrid but I know a lot of buyers for different stores will buy more in the popular sizes to accommodate the demand for it. Like have you ever noticed that in some department stores its nearly impossible to find shoes in a size 11? It's because there tends to be a very limited need for that size (well with average size woman anyway....) so the buyers don't order many of them, but they know that sizes 7 and 8 are popular so they buy double the volume in that size.

I think perhaps if we- collectively as shoppers send Torrid some nice feedback saying we would love more clothes in those sizes they might consider upping their merchandise bought. I know Torrid does listen. I've always loved their shoes- I wear a 12W and Torrid didn't carry that size, but Torrid has since added that size because of popular demand, and I've since seen a whole bunch of 12W shoes both in store and on the website.

You are so lucky to find 24's where you live. Come to VA and you'll find size 16. Looks like the stores carry the sizes you don't need. Like if you're a 16, you'll find 24's and if you're a 24 like I am you'll find 16's and 18's lol...

What if we all chip in? Like if I see something in Torrid I like but don't have in my size, someone else will pick it up. And vice versa? lol.
