Context matters. I got a different take on his message. He was actually indirectly supporting feeders through the ideology of 'Rugged Individualism.' In other words Gov stay out of my buisness. His choice of words may have been a little rough, but the entire message re-enforced individual rights.

i doubt Glenn Beck even knows or cares what a feeder is and is just trying to be incendiary out of the need to get viewership. if his numbers went down when he talked abut fat people i can bet he wouldn't mention them anymore. but maybe he has a kind of point that there should be some kind of law against bringing food to people with food addictions who have entered a voluntary program to change. that would take friends and family off the hook by giving them a legal reason for why they can't violate doctors orders or something. take away places wouldn't be able to enter certain facilities to deliver either. so then no need for feeders to be concerned if they actually can't bring food to someone.

i thought he was more about letting them eat themselves to death because its their right but prosecuting the people who brought them food because they can't seem to help themselves, as in being a food addict, but people who bring them food should know better in his view. maybe i heard it wrong.

definitely hateful but the idea the op is riding on about feeders being potentially jailed is something interesting to think about. such a law could possibly be made. what if bringing food was looked at by the justice system just like bringing drugs. it could either be a real problem. what if it ended up in an underground food movement? sorry my mind works on weird tangents. maybe i need to write some sci fi

I use to watch Glen Beck all the time late last year and the start of this year, and really looked forward to watching it, but now i can only stand to watch like five minutes of it when and if i tune in. I can't think of a reason for why i stopped watching, other then that there is something different about the show now from when i use to watch it, but i can't put my finger on it.

You're wasting your time trying to debate this strawman Fatpatriot. These hate threads pop up every now & then & it useless to point out facts because the duped are just that, duped. No amount of facts or logic will change their opinions.

I saw this show & you're right about it being completely taken out of context. Beck undoubtedly used a poor choice of words but it's obvious he wasn't referring to the size acceptance community.

The object of the rant was taken out of context & conflated into something entirely different. Beck was arguing against spreading Obamunism. (go figure) His rant was attacking Michelle Obama's war on obesity. He was saying that Big Government should stay out out of our lives. If someone chooses to get to get fat that's their choice & Big Government social engineering violates the scope of power granted to Washington by the Constitution.

Beck's only fault was his poor choice of words, I grant the OP that. But I completely agree with Beck on this issue. Big Government has absolutely no business telling American's what to eat & not to eat. Washington should stay the f*** out of my life.

how much clearer could Glenn Beck have been when he said:

" I say punish the person who’s been bringing them the milk shakes that allowed them to eat and not get up off the couch..."

i don't understand how in the world you or fatpatriot could interpret that as a support for feeders. maybe we are reading two different sentences altogether. or maybe its just that you folks would rather look away while your political hero drags your lifestyle though the mud with the same demagoguery as he would anyone else whose personal liberties he doesn't hesitate to trample over for ratings by appealing to ignorance and prejudice. or maybe its that you don't think the people on dimensions are "fat fat"?
