Default Expanding Tummy & Hunger Issues

One thing I've noticed in the past year is that, after stuffing myself so often and for so long, I find myself feeling like I'm starving if I haven't eaten in the past few hours. The more weight I've gained, the more intense the problem becomes.

At the moment, there's not really much edible food in the house, and even though it's only been 12hrs-ish since I last ate, I feel like a ravenous mad woman who would trade the world for cookies. Or pizza. Or really...... anything tasty, if only I didn't have to feel hungry like this right now. The entire area around my school (including my place) has been on lockdown all morning because of the gunman on campus, and I'm waiting for things to get back to normal so I can try and get to the store.

My tummy is just so used to expanding and constantly feeling full... now it doesn't know what to do when I can't just give into it so easily right now.
As much as I know, mentally, that I'm not actually starving, you'd have a heck of a time convincing my stomach of that.

The more I've put on weight, the more I notice this. My body craves food all the time, as though it were my biggest champion on the journey of gaining. I wouldn't call it a problem, per se, but rather one of those constant reminders of my current state.

The act of eating, in and of itself, is so sensual, so pleasing.... and the full feelings resulting from stuffing are like a drug. Perhaps I'm an addict? All I know is that my tummy aches for those full, sexy feelings again. Its emptiness cries out for anything with which to sate that hunger.

Right now I'm browsing the Pizza Hut website... creating order after order of food that I'd buy if the crisis wasn't stopping all of their deliveries today. I call it "window shopping"

I agree with a lot that you said BUT, this "window shopping", is 100% me!
Man oh man, I spend so much time on Papa Johns and Pizza Hut sits building entire meals...just for me.

Is there anything more pleasing that gorging on pizza? It fills me up so I don't seem hungry so soon after stuffin'

Hee. Window shopping. If only the 'see-food' diet actually worked! I do find that after a good binge stuffing, I feel like I'm starving to death the next day. And my belly is bottomless.

I do hope your situation changes soon! The belly tends to take things into its own hands sometimes...

Twelve hours?! You have every right to feel like a ravenous madwoman in the grips of starvation, my dear. I hope the situation's sorted itself out by now. Please let us know you spent the afternoon recovering over an obscene amount of pizza.

In fact, yes, I did cave in and get two large stuffed crust pizzas (had them delivered because I was not in the mood in to cook). Mmmmmmm, very tasty. I've actually been sitting around finishing off the second one this past hour.

I like to "window shop" at those "build a meal" websites like:
http://www.bk.com/en/us/menu-nutrition/index.html

The build a burger function only allows five patties at a time, however.

I really just tend to surf foodtv.com and supercook.com and other recipe sites... but sometimes.. its just as much fun building a burger as it is eating one.

Why armed? All you need to do is get in, deliver, and get out. Leave the engagement to heroes and the psychos who do it for a living.

Hey, junkfood is serious business. I already have rough schematics drawn up . By, "psychos" I meant, "SWAT team" so we'd better hope they know better than to take civilian heads as hood ornaments, but if you're armored enough it shouldn't really matter.

Yes, as a Texan, I feel this is definitely a needed service. I shouldn't have to go without food for that long just because Pizza Hut doesn't have it's own armored vehicle.

OMG I thought I was the only one who 'window-shopped'!!

It's not only online. I have catalogs (esp around the holidays) in piles and I look at them like porn. Not just food--cooking and kitchen stuff too.

The Williams-Sonoma catalog gives me panty-puddles.

Ever since I was a little girl, I've stole the Swiss Colony catalogs for my own personal pleasure...

I still do, even though the stuff isn't high end, I love it. I used to dream about eating every page.

I tend to window shop most when there's a new Foodee challenge, and I'm undecided what I'm going to present.

Why is it, when you've over-dosed on Chinese Buffet, that less than an hour later.. you're hungry again? I think they're still putting MSG in their food, and just telling us otherwise.

Default Stretched stomach, probably?

I used to have a female friend, Natasha, who often expressed the same feelings. We used to joke that she had a "functional belly" unlike a lot of BBWs out there. The point was, anyone can get fat, and even have a tendency for most of it to go to their stomach, yet not be a "big eater" as far as having a large stomach capacity. To get the big capacity, you have to stuff yourself often enough to stretch the stomach. After a while, it gets used to holding more, and it takes a lot more to feel "full".

It was pretty impressive in her case. (Quite a few guys -- not just me -- loved watching her down big quantities of food or drinks at a time. She used to chug down entire 2 liters of soda or juice like most people would drink a 12oz can.)
