Another Congressman in trouble for alleged sexual improprieties.

The story is from Politico and not Fox. I wonder if this story will go the distance like the Weiner story did? Considering Rep. Hastings past record, will people be inclined to believe his denials?

A wise move for anyone contemplating public service might be to undergo castration first. But wait, that might affect the bravado and suave go-getter appeal that gets them elected in the first place.

Undergo castration...or just not do this shit. Who knew that people have a say in the matter. It's doesn't have to be inevitable. I hope the castration comment wasn't implying that men ( these examples have been about men ) just cannot help themselves.

Not necessarily, but one has to assume that when even the President of the United States does something as colossally stupid as making out with an intern in the White House, we're dealing with a force that cannot simply be dismissed (even apart from it always taking two to Tango). If sexuality were not an unpredictable force of nature, humanity would have vanished long ago.

Yes, I am fully aware that sexuality is powerful, but humanity would still have thrived without the negative expression of sexuality.

So much of this stuff happens because there is a sense of entitlement that is actively cultivated, and dismissed by so many. So instead of throwing up the hands...throw up the expectations and the not tolerating. And when one is talking about sexual harrassment and more along those lines...it is not just a couple of horny people going at it...others be damned.
