9th Season Already?

I have watched every season of this show; I've loved some and felt very ambivalent about others, but all in all, it's still a good time.

This season starts with TWENTY newbies. A bit much if you ask me, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I love Project Runway! I don't give a toss about fashion, but I love this and ANTM. Project Runway Australia is currently up to the third episode this season, but so far the designers don't impress me much.

Is it wrong that I get a warm fuzzy feeling when I come here and see that Jes has started the new season's Project Runway thread?

I just updated my Facebook to say "Project Runway is back, bitches!"

I'm like penguin, I don't really care about fashion or modeling but I love Project Runway and ANTM too. And I hate myself for the fact that I actually call it ANTM and not America's Next Top Model in real life.

Let the games begin.....

I wish my tv channels actually aired Project Runway here. All we do get to watch is the Canadian one, and we're only something like 4 seasons into it.

well i missed last night. very uncharacteristic of me, i know, but i went to a support group last night for the first time and while the website said 7 to 8 pm, it ended up going for 3 hours. we needed a lot of support, i guess.

anyway, i will catch up when i catch up, though unless there's interest in discussing things, i'm not likely to post about it.

Watching the Nina Garcia episode right now. The complete looks of terror on the contestants' faces while she makes the rounds has me completely convinced that this is going to be an epic season. And that Nina really needs to be involved in challenges more.

** Nina Challenge Spoiler Below **

Loved the winner's metallic blouse on the Nina challenge. I wasn't paying enough attention to notice anything but black pants on the lower half. The top was epic though, really lovely.

The winning outfit looked a lot better on Nina than the model. I wasn't a fan of the color combination until Nina put it on.

So- when I tuned in tonight sewing was already underway; I missed any early drama. Overall I thought tonight's designs ranged from hideous to boring.
