At 5-10 and 580+ soft lbs I am definitly a supersized BBW, and it seems I was always destined to be one. I come from what I like to call a dynasty of big beautiful women. All the women in my family are bbw's, while the men are average sized. I have been very lucky to come from a family that has been very positive and accepting so I never grew up feeling like I was inferior or hating myself for my ever blossoming figure. My father told me and my sisters all of our lives growing up that we are beautiful and I know we are each the confident women we are because of my parents love and acceptance.
I was a thin little girl but by the time I was nine I had started to gain weight. I was about 350 lbs when I graduated high school and have gotten better every year since. I will admit that I tried to diet a couple of times, and lost 116 lbs on that liquid fast every one was on at one point, but I also lost some of my hair, and had gall bladder attacks and felt terrible the whole time I was on it. Of course when I went off of it I gained it all back plus some extra. But I finally wised up and realized diets dont work for everyone.
I went to college and was working on a degree in early childhood education when I decided I wanted to work with people with special needs, developmental disabilities and physical disabilities and started working in this field. It is very rewarding for me, it appeals to the nurturing caregiver side of my personality, but it is also part teacher. I worked for a state run training center and also managed group homes for mentally retarded adults.
I am also studying to be a legal transcriptionist and hope to find work in that field soon. I discovered the world of size acceptance when I joined NAAFA about nine years ago and have been a member ever since. I am single and still looking for my mister right. I am able to get around well for a woman my size and while you wont find me skydiving or bungee jumping, I do drive still, and do all my self care and so far do pretty well mobility wise.
I am a very romantic, passionate, affectionate woman and look for these qualities in a man, as well as honest, good sense of humor and above all knowing what they want and comfortable in their preference for a big beautiful woman. I love to slow dance and snuggle and spend quiet times with a man, and am definitly built for comfort not for speed.
I love to read, love all kinds of music, rent movies, and now to go online and surf the net. I'd love to meet someone to share my life with will keep searching If you are out there, here i am!
