I've discovered it is true: life does begin at 40. I just celebrated my 41st birthday and have experienced a number of significant changes in the past year. During 1999 I finished my graduate degree, started attending modeling classes (I'm 5'7", size 16), received a significant promotion at work, ended a 13 year marriage (my choice), and am having the time of my life
It has been a long battle to become the person I am today, but I am finally discovering the freedom to be who I am instead of who others expect or want me to be. I love it!
