Hi Everyone!
We just want to let everyone that we tied the knot on July 14th, 1997.
Turk and I met on the internet in Oct 96, he answered one of my many
pen pal ads that I had put over the net! At that time, he didn't even
know what a BBW was! We started writing back and forth a coulple times
a day and he keeps reminding me that my ad said weekly. Well, we both
were just looking for a pen pal to write to, but we found more. We are
so much alike that it is really scarey that two people can be so much
alike!
Turk lived in Idaho and I live in Minnesota, I finally agreed to
let him come to Minnesota in Feb 97. No regrets! But, at times I
look back and think, that it could have been a mistake. But, sometimes
we have to take that chance!
Today( Aug 4th) it is our 6 month anniversary since his plane touched
down here in Minnesota and we both have no regrets and my family just
thinks it is great that we have found so much happiness with each
other! The family didn't really like the idea of a stranger moving
in my house, even if it was just in the guest room. But, I could tell
that he was the one and that we were really meant for each other!
In May 97, Turk gave me the engagement ring for Mother's Day, we have
2 cats and they were having a good sale that weekend and we were going
to start looking soon anyway, so we thought why not save a few bucks!
Not really, we just then figured that we could afford a larger ring!
July 14th we were pronounced Man and Wife in a wedding chapel in Las
Vegas and have been home for about 10 days and are still like on the
honeymoon!
So, to all of you girls looking for Mr Right! Don't give up, I found
mine and I wasn't really looking for him! I'll be 40 in November and
was content to be alone for the rest of my life, but Boy am I glad that
someone else had different plans for my life! Never give up! :)

P.S. We sure do miss the chat rooms! But, we have been kind of busy
anyway lately!
