My name is Susan and my husband and I met via computer three years ago and are about to
celebrate our second wedding anniversary July 8th! We are still madly in love and feel
like we are still on the honeymoon! <giggle>
It all started before we had internet. We used to use BBS's to communicate! There was a
chat area where you would leave messages and then others would reply usually the next
day since it wasn't "real time" communication.
Paul and I began to chat on a provincial chat area with other friends until I noticed
that his message made me laugh more than others did and I began to feel an attraction.
He made some mention of liking large women and that is when I really started to take
notice!
After several months of chatting in public, I got brave one day and sent him a "private
message". After a month of sending private message and snail mail to one another he
called me on the telephone. I was so excited and happy and NERVOUS! We hit it off from
the moment our voices first met! We called each other everyday and would talk for 4 to 6
hours.....the long distance almost killed us since he lived in a different province than
I did.
Finally we decided to meet in person and I invited him to my home for the weekend. What
was I insane? He was a stranger! But I knew deep inside that I loved this man very
much without even meeting him! What was supposed to be a weekend visit ended up being a
two week visit with him going home long enough to pack his stuff and move to the city
where I lived.
After dating for 3 more months he popped the big question.....OVER THE COMPUTER where
everyone could see! I was so thrilled!!! To make a long story short.....we were married
5 months later and it has been a wonderful and fantastic 2 years of blissful and happy
marriage! Just when I think I couldn't love him more, I discover I do!
The neatest part of all is that we were both in our 30's, neither had been married
before and we are both well over 350 lbs!
