Show Your Fridge!!! :) (Yet another pic thread!)

This is the best thread ever - I have to post mine. But first, please please tell me more about your ice cream selection! Green & Black makes ice cream?? I LOVE their chocolate. And Reeds? Ginger flavor?? Tell me more!

    Your best bite today!

I had a fantastic Guatemalan espresso today. I drink a lot of coffee, and this one was exceptional. :eat2:

Does anyone have any sugar-free/carbless GOOD recipes

The chicken soup is yummy! Cook a whole chicken, eat what you can off it, and boil the bones and leftover meat for about an hour. Let cool and pick out the bones and cartilage. In a separate pan, sautee an onion or two until near translucent, then add garlic, celery, and fennel root. Toss in...

Everyday food pics - come peek!

That's Dominos? It actually looks... how should I say it... good! All these pics are making me hungry. :eat1:

Does anyone have any sugar-free/carbless GOOD recipes

And ohh, how could I forget? These fried green beans are better than french fries (IMHO). I use the baby green beans from Trader Joe's. Asparagus (you gotta wait until it's in season, skip the Peruvian stuff) can also be delicious - brush it with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and...

Does anyone have any sugar-free/carbless GOOD recipes

I make a lot of relatively low-carb/sugar-free dishes. A bunch of my recipes are on Flickr. Almost nothing is carbless, but the carbs mostly come from non-starchy vegetables. The crustless quiche is one of my favorites, especially when filled with southern style kale. Mmmm! This sausage...

    Traditional Thanksgiving foods you dislike.

I love yams, and I love candy, but I hate candied yams. Ugh. To those who dislike cranberries, try them fresh! They're so easy. Boil 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar. Add 1 lb of cranberries and cook them until they pop. Let chill overnight and enjoy the amazing difference between that and the...

    Pear shaped jeans = hopeless?

I'll check out Apple Bottoms -- thanks for the advice. Their size chart doesn't instill me with confidence, though. According to it I'm a size 12 bust/waist and a size 20 hips... sigh... It was EASIER to find pants when I was bigger. Argh!

    Pear shaped jeans = hopeless?

I hate shopping. I haven't bought jeans in about 5 years, and there's a reason for it. NOTHING fits! I've spent the last two days looking for a pair of pants, and I've had zero success. I have a very pear-shaped body. My hips and thighs are very large but my waist is relatively small. Lane...

    Too Fat to Fly?

"Why would you fly Indian Airlines when staff at other companies are so very tall and attractive?" Uh... yeah... that's how I base my decisions on which airline to fly. Those "too fat" 143 lb flight attendants should all be fired! Absurd.

    Thanks Tina!

They had that soup with little grilled cheese sandwich bites on sample one day at TJ's - ever since it's been my favorite too!

    What Joy is Missing

I thought they re-released the original Joy of Cooking? Or were going to? I don't know about the 75th Anniversary Edition, but the New Joy of Cooking sucks. Either way, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a copy of the original edition cheap at a used bookstore. I bought an extra at a...

Been snacking on these pumpkin seeds all afternoon! Yum!

What Are You EATING right now?

Rhubarb crumble? I've never had it, but that sounds really good. I'm drinking a wonderful Chinese red tea sweetened with lychee fruits. I used to frequent a restaurant that served all their iced tea this way, and I learned to really love lychees.
