    Being Supportive

Greetings Everyone, I presume that this is a common topic, but does anyone have any suggestions, as a FA, for supporting a partner who would like to lose weight? Not to state that I will not continue to cherish her, but I am curious how others may have felt about this topic. Thank you all for...

I am still single as well, but I think that this year is a step towards moving to a future goal of developing a relationship.

Inspiration for your NICKNAME and AVATAR

I suppose I chose my nickname from the idea of often searching for knowledge and the symbolism of the oak for the longevity and loyalty to continue learning even if I think I have thought most of the circumstances. My avatar is an old picture of me or I suppose myself.

    Fat!So? and other books!

I might also suggest the second edition of the book Body Outlaws: Rewriting the Rules of Beauty and Body Image edited by Ophira Edut and Fat Rights: Dilemmas of Difference and Personhood by Anna Rutherford Kirkland.

SF people! Want to hang out on Friday, May 22?

I know I am not quite known but I am also living in San Francisco if people would not mind me joining. Of course, it would also depend on the time.

    When you were younger....

Thoughts regarding this topic: I suppose I realized my preference as an FA during high school and finding this web site in my search results. Originally, I was working on Geometry problems and I suppose it makes sense that my search results returned with this web site as I was trying to figure...

New Fat Acceptance Advert - "Too Offensive for Television"

I suggest that after watching the ad, you go to this link: www.antiprejudicead.net. There is uploaded a segment with the people who created this ad and their reasons. This segment is also from the show The Gruen Transfer.

    Fat dating/Dating Fat

I hope this is not a stupid question, but what exactly do you all define "dating" to mean? What I mean is that dating to me usually means making social engagements with someone of either the same or opposite sex (depending on attraction), but does it necessary imply multiple people? Thank you...

Hello! new here- have a question!

Greetings and I hope your exploration on this website is going well. As for attraction, I suppose there are the physical and mental components. Physically, I would place apple-shaped before pear-shaped in terms of first glance, but it is about someone's personally in the end that counts.

why are there no gay men on dimensions?.

Well, I agree with many of the points here, I feel that sometimes it is hard to put together particular focuses and see that attraction to the larger figure is something that goes across all sexualities, etc. I am happy to discuss more.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Well, I do not remember much of my childhood career choices or the idea of growing up, but now I want to either be a public intellectual like Charles Taylor or a librarian.
