Sci-Fi Literature; recommendations?
Anything by Iain Banks (pen name Iain M Banks for his sci-fi books). Pretty highly regarded, although not sure how big he is outside the UK? Sadly passed away about a week ago. Most of his sci fi work is written in the same universe, so if you're a sucker for detail/ tropes he's a must read.- rampantlyon
