Took a motorcycle training course this weekend (DMV and insurance companies recognize 15 hours of driving around a local airport runway but not 15 years of riding in Canada). The course provides bikes -- even though I was assigned the tallest most powerful bike they had (Yamaha XT250) -- I felt like I was riding a toy. Indeed motorcycles seem to be shrinking generally. 30 years ago all the larger bikes could easily accommodate riders over six feet tall. Indeed you actually needed to be fairly tall to comfortably handle bikes like my old Suzuki GS850g.

Its getting harder and harder to find bikes with a decent seat height (i.e. over 32 inches). I bought a big tall Triumph Tiger 1050. But even this is more cramped than my old Suzuki.
