Which best describes your own personal disposition towards a possible Meet-Up?

  • Live/work outside of the 5 boroughs, wouldn't come into Manhattan except for on a Weekend.

  • From outer boroughs, favoring coming into Manhattan at some point during the week.

  • What the hell is a borough-anyway?

  • Meh...I sort of admire how you persist despite the real potential here to meet the fate of Icarus.

  • I'm kind of an old fart, not really so interested either way.

As we start to approach warmer weather, is there any interest in a (possible) meet-up?

I was hoping to open up a discussion on possible locations or activity-ideas, not necessarily limiting it to the traditional or expressly fat-friendly or more accessible.

What if we did something kind of lo-key on a earlier-in-the-week early night? Like Happy Hour, somewhere walking distance from Union Square or Washington Square Park? (Sly Fox? Burp Castle?).

What if, instead of trying to make it a whole-night or day type of thing, we just limited to a 20 or 30 minute window; as in, whoever shows up is there or not for however long, and we more or less part ways after some basic refreshment and a quick chat. With a relatively low bar of entry, in terms of overall time-commitment and other investment.

What do you guys think? Any ideas?
