I teach college level English as a foreign language to international students, so I am often in front of large groups of students from many countries. In the last 3 years I have started gaining as a feedee and have grown a large round ball belly. I know in Japan there is sort of a prejudice against fat people, yet I have noticed in classes several women from Japan being very obvious (literally telling me, following me around, and coming up to rub it) about admiring my belly. I love the attention and am not complaining in any way lol, but has anyone noticed anything like this from Japanese women? It may be that they are just less inhibited about admiration than Americans. Any thoughts?
