    Did I misinterpret this post?

Got a weird reply -- said it meant "sleep". I noticed another larger woman in the comment section claiming to feel attacked but then added a "LOL" at the end. He said that is not his profile, which is possible, but I don't buy it.

    Did I misinterpret this post?

Got a weird response...he said that it means "sleep". Initially said, after I confronted him, that he "never said that" and I "took it the wrong way" in response to me accusing him of finding bodies like mine to be repulsive.

    Did I misinterpret this post?

Which makes me wonder why he seeked me out for all these months and asked me to be his girlfriend (never asked for money or anything like that). Maybe I was the exception to his rule...IDK. You too! Thank you.

    Did I misinterpret this post?

Thank you. He asked me to be his woman before this and I was reluctant for different reasons but still feel a bit bad and will be thinking about this for a while.

    Did I misinterpret this post?

Thank you. I have a habit of often not trusting my perception and one of the most important things in life to me is to believe as many true things as possible and as few false things as possible, so I wanted to post in a forum in which I felt safe to get a general consensus or see if I'm perhaps...

    Did I misinterpret this post?

Hello. Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but it seemed to fit, so I thought it was OK. Proceed with caution when reading, as talk about anti-fatness and a potential anti-fat photo are below. I was chatting with a guy with whom there was potential to be in a romantic relationship until, out...

What is your weight right now?

    About 400 pounds.

Has anyone else eaten a dozen donuts?

I have rarely, if ever, been able to eat 12 donuts by myself, especially with milk -- just can't handle it. My god, do I love those cheap Walmart chocolate donuts when they are fresh, though.

Trigger warnings for intentional weight loss, fatphobia: BF has started intermittent fasting (?) so he can go on family vacation to theme park.

Good. I'm glad you paid her no mind -- that is often very damaging for a parent to do to a child. My own mother once promised me she'd pay for an apartment if Iost 100 pounds but I had to keep it off or she'd stop paying for it. I don't think she realized the effect Thank you. I didn't know...

Trigger warnings for intentional weight loss, fatphobia: BF has started intermittent fasting (?) so he can go on family vacation to theme park.

Thank you. What is IF then, if you don't mind explaining? Is his behavior just straight up starvation? I thought starvation was more prolonged and not...intermittent. Even if intentional weight loss works permanently and is proven to improve health, giving someone only 6 months to lose enough...

Trigger warnings for intentional weight loss, fatphobia: BF has started intermittent fasting (?) so he can go on family vacation to theme park.

Thank you. He has agreed with everything I've said (or nearly so), but still wants to go so badly and/or is so desperate for his dad's acceptance that he, so far, has not listened to what I said. To me, what he's doing appears to be intermittent fasting -- not sure if it's that or what, though...

Trigger warnings for intentional weight loss, fatphobia: BF has started intermittent fasting (?) so he can go on family vacation to theme park.

We have only been together for 9 months and he just turned 31. I don't know his family at all -- never met any of them (they live in different states).

Trigger warnings for intentional weight loss, fatphobia: BF has started intermittent fasting (?) so he can go on family vacation to theme park.

It's not my dad but his. My immediate response -- or one of them, anyway -- was also for him to tell his dad to f*ck off. No, we're not engaged and I'm not sure I'd marry him even if I wanted to get married due to his somewhat spineless behavior, though I'm trying to be understanding because...

Trigger warnings for intentional weight loss, fatphobia: BF has started intermittent fasting (?) so he can go on family vacation to theme park.

Haven't met any of the family and not sure I want to meet the dad, at least -- if he feels like this about his own son, I'm afraid he would feel even worse about me, since I'm noticeably larger.

Trigger warnings for intentional weight loss, fatphobia: BF has started intermittent fasting (?) so he can go on family vacation to theme park.

Hopefully I posted in the correct section! The gist is that his dad is having a family vacation in 5 months and will not pay for my BF’s tickets unless he loses weight but is paying everyone else's way (older brother and his wife, at least, if not other siblings and their kids). My boyfriend...

Not sure she was a member of this forum (Feabie, maybe), but Christina Paez, AKA “Sinfully Divine”, passed away on September 29 at the age of 47 after a battle with pneumonia and the virus.
