Do you like being fat? And if so why or why not?

Yes and no, but more yes than no. Background: I was skinny-to-average my entire life, but had weight gain fantasies since I was young. ~8 years ago around age 30, I finally succumbed--and to date have gained 120 lbs (which is a lot since I'm also very short). So my perspective on being fat is...

Your Current Size vs Goal Size

I’m going to have to reverse it: 5’4” Goal size: 243 (100 lbs gained) Current size: 263 That’s the problem with goals like that. When I finally hit my goal, I thought: “NOW what?” I didn’t have a plan, other than to keep eating and gaining because that habit has become so ingrained. Now I’ve...

    Unintentionally hot comments

I had to go to a medical clinic awhile back. This cute, friendly, petite girl processed my intake but forgot to ask my weight. So she asked. I lied and said: “225 pounds” (I was at least 240). She replied: “225 pounds... perfect.” I’m sure she didn’t mean anything by it, but I still like to...

    Need some advice

Wow. I’m really glad I decided to read this thread! What a wonderful turn of events! Thanks so much for sharing, Jack. Love and hope often seem in short supply these days, and you’ve provided us with both.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong

(I’m the last person who should be giving relationship advice, but): Maybe the people you’ve spoken with get uncomfortable or even a bit scared when they realize you’re looking for something deeper. If your basic intentions are unknown to them in the beginning, a pivot from “casual” to “more...

Your skinniest and fattest pics - Part 2!

I shaved most of it before that pic. Prefer the way it looks and feels. Thanks! First pic was about 140 lbs and second is about 230–though I am very short.

    Loneliness

My default is to wallow. Curl into a ball, hide, avoid, retract into myself. However, I know deep down—and this has been confirmed by countless experiences—that some time spent in nature can be an effective antidote to this state of mind. Nature is fundamentally neutral. It doesn’t pass...

What is your highest adult weight?

    Lowest: ~130 lbs Highest: 230 lbs (I'm only 5'4) :) Now: 220

what is the most weight you have put on in a year?

~50 lbs, which is quite a bit when you're only 5'4". Went from "normal" weight to "obese" for the first time ever. (Since when did stairs become so terrifying?) ;)

What do you consider BBW and SSBBW?

Bigness is relative, Beauty is subjective. You, for instance, are stunningly beautiful in my eyes.

What do you consider BBW and SSBBW?

It's a combination of instinct and the intuitive sense that a woman has achieved the upper--or "ultimate" bracket of sexy fatness. It could be broken down in terms of height-to-weight ratio, but that fails to account for the in-betweeners, so there's a grey area..

    Fat Belly in public

In terms of realism, I'd say it's a little bit too big (~15-20% or so). It looks a little disproportionate to the rest of your body, particularly given the absence of lovehandles and possibly moobs.

How systematic are you about your weight gain?

I am curious to know how many of you active gainers are "systematic" in your approach to getting fatter. In other words, how developed or specific is your plan to gain weight? Do you measure and weigh every X number of days? Do you count calories? Or is it more of a casual sort of thing..?

    My gaining journey thus far.

Yep, that'll do it! Far be it from me to endorse The Devil's Weed, but it really can be the 'magic bullet' for weight gain. Appetite stimulation (+ general laziness) = "Can I eat that?? And do I really have to get up?" Excellent work so far.

What's your gain in 2013 and goals for 2014?

I packed on 40 pounds last year, which is by far the most I've ever gained--and quite significant for someone who is only 5'4". This took my BMI from "normal" to "obese" for the first time ever. Outgrew almost all of my clothes, and peaked at about 183. Unfortunately my living situation...

    Weight Gain Intervals

The most I've gained by far happened during a 5-month span this year, when I gained 40 pounds -- which is a lot since I'm only 5'4". Started out in the "normal" weight category and ended up officially obese for the first time ever. I also have a closet full of 32" pants, and the last time I...
