    Post Your Daily Produce Consumption!

Since I'm not doing so well at getting consistent exercise and posting in the daily exercise thread, I came up with the idea of folks posting the fruits and vegetables they eat each day. At least that's one thing I'm consistently pretty good at doing (for over a year now), and these days I need...

Some advice that might be helpful for pet owners.

I don't know where to post this, but I want to reach as many pet owners as possible in case the following information would help them. If your pet is ill and suffering and you have come to the decision to put it to sleep, please be aware that it is possible to arrange for at-home euthanasia by...

Anyone manage to have an MRI despite panicking?

I was supposed to have an MRI this past Tuesday. I did go to the appointment, but I had a meltdown as they were moving me into that little MRI tube - hyperventilating, shaking, panicking, crying. I couldn't do it, so I have to reschedule (and probably get billed for both appointments). My God...

Stonewall Kitchen - 20% Off Code

I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone post discount codes on the Foodee Board, but I want to put the word out on this one since Stonewall Kitchen rarely has sales like this. Receive 20% off just about everything by using G03166J8 as the source code when checking out. It's valid only from today...

    Old Navy gift cards.

I have two Old Navy gift cards with a good bit of money on them between the two (don't ask - I bought a bunch of stuff that I ended up not liking and I stupidly returned it all after the 90-day window for a cash refund had expired - all I could get was credit). There's about $115-$120 on one...

Old Navy Jeans - Super Stretchy Pair

I bought a pair of Old Navy's "Women's Plus Low-Rise Boot-Cut - 'The Diva' Surplus Jeans" in Light Wash and discovered that they're much, much stretchier than typical ON jeans. The fabric is a bit lighter weight than typical jeans, and they're super soft. I love the wash and they feel great...

50% off storewide Lane Bryant and the gift cheque still works!

The gift cheque code (025000481) for $25 off of a $75 purchase/$50 off of $150/$75 off of $225 still works - at least it did for me when I used it five minutes ago. I got $164 worth of stuff for $51. The site says the 50% off storewide promotion cannot be combined with other coupons or...

    Bacon Chocolate

A friend bought this chocolate bar for me, Mo's Bacon Bar. And you know, it's actually pretty tasty. You can taste the bacon bits, but they're not overpowering. In fact, we both agreed the bar could use more bacon (as can everything in life). It works - that salty and sweet combination.

Sun protection - clothing and sunblock/sunscreen

I've got sun protection on my mind lately. Has anyone tried any of the sun protective clothing that's available? It's something I've never really considered, and I'm wondering if it's useful. For instance, this site sells t-shirts (up to a 6x) that provide an SPF of 40-50, whereas a typical...

    Flip-flops!

Am I the only person who's having no luck finding a pair in which the thong piece doesn't hurt their feet? I want to be one of these people breezing around all day wearing nice, cool, casual flip-flops! PVC rubber, grosgrain ribbon, sizing up, sizing down, none of it helps. My feet usually...

    The mystery of eyeshadow application.

How can I apply it without looking like Alice Cooper? I've read instructions here and there about how to do it properly, and yet, something always seems to go wrong. Perhaps my choice of colors is off, I have no idea. (I guess I have hazel eyes as while they usually appear brown, they turn...

Lane Bryant (and other brands) jeans?

I haven't had too much experience with jeans from Lane Bryant [store], but all of the ones I've tried (and ended up returning) were made from a thinner, much stretchier fabric than "regular" stretch jeans. Have any of you found this to be true? Every now and then I see jeans on the website...
