The Forest Park hospital was built during the bariatric surgery boom of the mid 2000's with WLS their initial focus, later diversifying to other GI issues when the bariatric work failed to keep them busy.
Three of the surgeons indicted were responsible for about 60% to 80% of the bariatric surgery ads in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This really underscores the ethics practiced there.
