Does getting fatter create or cause an increase in bisexual inclinations?

Not that I've ever heard of--but I presume that there is a reason you ask?

One thing that I can imagine is that as you get fatter and get more comfortable with being sexual in this non-traditional way (non-traditional in modern western society anyway) that you may become open to other parts of your sexuality that you'd managed to ignore previously.

    Just one thought.

I find fat women really really really really really really sexy. I want to touch them and stuff but you know, I don't want to have sex with them? I like kissing though.. dunno what that makes me.

People spend too much time trying to classify themselves in any one orientation. People are just people.

First of all, I resonate with both edx on this. I do think being sexual in a "non-traditional" can open the door to opening other avenues of pleasure - queer or otherwise.

I also agree with Tooz. We do spend too much time worrying about the categories.

Given the fact that we can't avoid them, however, talk we must. Right? :D

I think a strand of fat attraction (if that is what you're implying) can lend itself to bi-sexuality or homosexual inclinations if fat and the pleasure of fatness begins to override, or take precedence, over the gender of your partner. Said another way, once you begin to really identify with the pleasure and sensuousness of fat, the appearence and proportion of a fat body, its size, and theh distribution of softness across your/another's body, etc....these kind of erotics can become more important than the gender of the object of your desire. In other words, the erotics of fat becomes more important than the strict erotics of gender (hetero, homo).

Now, your question was whether "getting fatter" can cause this. I'm assuming getting fatter is connected to your pleasure of fatness.

If you're simply asking if getting fatter causes bisexuality like running around wet in the winter naked might catch you a cold, I doubt it. But, openning up the door of erotics can lead to all sorts of discovery.

    Das wa I tink.

    These are all interesting points...

I think there has to be something in the feminizing of a mans body has he gets fat(ter).

He develops breasts, his body becomes softer and curvier, if he has a large belly apron it will cover his groin...

    Just a thought

What sort of observations would spur you to come up with such a theory?

Ya know something I think I see where he came up with this idea. I used to be a little undercover freak back in the day, and I really was rather suprised by the amount of women (all bbw's) that were bi, or into s/m, had group sex, liked anal or didn't mind having sex with a woman if a man was around. I will say that I think that BBW's are a very sexual. I don't think they are easy or anything like that, I just think that they are better in bed and a little more "open".

My wifes opinion: BBW's feel shunned and outcasted as a legitamate worthwhile companion(girlfreind, wife) at a very young age. When being over weight starts during younger years the fat is unacceptable mentality is driven into thought their young adulthood. This makes them open too nontradional relationships moreso than thinner women. They are willing to accept more abuse, degragation and not willing to stand up for themselves. So they are willing to put aside their own feelings and do what their mate wants them to do because they are grateful too have one. If every BBW read this openly they will admit they cried about not having a date, steady boyfreind or being treated as well as "normal" weight women. When you are cheated on time after time, bootycall after bootycall, and finally a guy who's into 3 somes and spanking or other s/m is willing to say i like BBW's and not have her as a closet girlfreind she id willing to put up with that just to beaccepted and loved "if i do _______ i'll still be his girlfreind".

    Hi

I agree with you to a point.

but for most BHMs and many BBWs there breast size thought sometimes sizable is far less noticeable on their larger wider torsos.

Most BHMs and many BBWs do not accumulate a lot of width in their hips and leg area. What I am saying is that a lot of BHMs and BBWs are simply big all over.

Everyone has some degree of bisexuality to them. It's just a matter of how much shows. Considering humans start out the same way, and only become male or female a number of weeks into fetus growth.

What you turn out to be is a combination of how you're raised, your experiences maturing, any unnatural fears you develop (homophobia). I think it's fully possible for someone to learn/adapt to being bisexual through their experiences after establishing an orientation.

I have to disagree on that.

Women's breasts are gold. A gift to mankind from the gods. A heavy man does not get breasts and not all heavy men even get body fat on their pecs. Quite simply, men lack the hormones to get breasts.

Personally I don't think men can be bisexual. If they say they are it's because they dont wanna admit that they're gay.

I disagree with that. I also feel sexual orientation is in born and not learned.

    I have a bisexual brother.

Trust me; he would not be ashamed to be gay. He also loves women.

You assume that all bisexual men are ashamed, or not out of the closet.
