Cheddar cheese Lincoln has nothing on Big Butter Jesus.

Okay, so he's not really made of butter, but he has his own theme tune!

Hey! I never thought about eating Abe Lincoln before.

Should this have been posted on the GLBTQ board?

You got your cheese Lincoln and your fake butter Jesus, but here in Illinois, we have an ACTUAL Butter Cow, Calf and Skunks at the State Fair. :D They are kept in a cooler so they don't melt during the fair in the hot August sun. They have different ones every year.

I think these timeless works provide clue that the long night has ended and America is about to enter it's greatest years.

 (Diners' tip: steer clear from the Calvin Coolidge tuna salad.) :eat2:

...and I'm beginning to suspect we need a separate food sculpture thread...

"Debate Churns Over Proposed Jackson Butter Sculpture at Iowa State Fair
    Wednesday, July 08, 2009

Michael Jackson may be memorialized in wax at Madame Tussaud's, but it's not yet clarified whether he'll get butter treatment at the Iowa State Fair.

The debate over how to honor the late King of Pop is churning for Iowa fairgoers who will vote on whether to include Jackson's image as part of the fair's 2009 display of celebrated butter sculptures."...

I don't know whether to laugh or cry...
