Give it some welly!!!
After weeks & weeks of careful preperation, & many hitches & glitches along the way, my friend Wendie got married yesterday. She's a BBW & like me, more of a tomboy than a girlie girl. But for her wedding she pulled out all the stops - including having her wedding dress shipped in from USA. She blew me away when i saw her - she was so beautiful & looked just like a fairytale princess. Hubby John couldn't take his eyes off of her.
It was a wonderful party afterwards, & we even got Pauline to come (no mean feat - she hasn't been out socializing since her hubby was killed in a car accident a year ago) & she amazed herself by having fun & boogying with the best of them. Tom took the opportunity to come out of the closet with some more of his family (who took the news well) & Kyle (who has trust issues) finally began to let down his armour a little & let us begin to see the real person behind the diva mask.
It's just been one of those heartwarming times when all the best of things that life has to offer have been so blatently in my face - leaving me feeling all glowing, happy & glad to be alive.
