Happy Fat Tuesday! I’m in NY and have really missed the traditions and fun you find in the south around Mardi Gras. I’ve spent some time in Alabama and there is a big Mardi Gra tradition! Moon Pies, RC Cola, beads and Family Fun. Mardi Gras began in Mobile Alabama and to today is a much more family oriented festival. I sure do miss the King Cakes, Moon Pies, and Pancake Dinners that happen around this time
