I am not in a good place about my size. I am only a size 28 but I really FEEL that I look like a sausage in all my clothes - no matter how I really fit in them. It is not usually a problem, but has become so, because I am likely to be doing an interview on TV in the next month or two and I am overly self-conscious about it. This feeling is interfering with my willingness to do the right thing and do the interview. My experiences may save some other child from going through the same things.

(The interview is about adult children who suffered parental alienation syndrome after their parents' divorce - not just having been told awful things about one parent by the other, but being pressured to the point of engaging in undeserved behaviors against that targeted parent.)

I suffered all the stereotypical things from the damage this caused me and it is only recently I have fully reconciled with my "target" parent. (I am trying to keep it gender neutral, so as not to start some debate on this board.)

So, here I am, faced with my figure plastered all over the media, and I am suddenly giving myself an ulcer over "said figure".

Any help you can give me -- especially those who have other anxiety disorders as well - like me? I am feeling less feminine because of the weight and ... I am just overwhelmed.
