I remember reading long ago, some quote by Noam Chomsky to the effect that, he felt 'progressives' should keep silent or not straightforward about massive human rights violations in the Soviet Bloc. His 'reasoning' was that to acknowledge such would be to give political/intellectual ammunition to conservative warmongers within and outside the American government. Can anyone give an authentic link directly to such a quote?
