Many of you might have heard about Quebec figure-skater Joannie Rochette who, just days before her Olympic final, heard the tragic news that her mother had died. In spite of this tragedy, she skated to an Olympic Bronze in the 2010 Vancouver games. Well, there is another side to the lady: Her being a fan of the Ayn Rand novel "The Fountainhead". Also go to http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/27/sports/olympics/27skate.html where she said her mother always wanted her to think of herself first, as she wanted her to be strong. Guess she read (or is living) "The Virtue Of Selfishness".
