Squee! Used to love Max Brenner but began an affair with the Lindt Cafe and then tarted around with a certain sweet shop near me. My god, have I no shame? This thread is making me want to rekindle the affair with old Max :eat2:. My favourite one was near a hotel where I used to have high tea quite often (yes, I am a dork) and I tell you there is nothing so good as a good pot of Earl Grey with dainty cucumber sandwiches and scones followed by a good hour or so spent scoffing one of the special chocolate thingies with plenty of vanilla ice cream which balances out the denseness and the soft insides. Oh my... not sure if it's on the menu over there but it's good.

I'm going to have to go back again this week after all that. Nummy nums!
