Just wanted to know if I'm on here too much? Am I getting on people's nerves these days? Perhaps I should curtail my activity?

No absolutely not I personally feel that you are a consistently thoughtful knowledgeable and inclusive participant in the forum. Just my point of view.

The thing is, I sit in front of a computer at work all day long and thus, have the ability to check into the boards all day. It seems I am on here so much these days and I wondered if people got tired of seeing my replies every five minutes.

I don’t think that’s possible. Problem is most of us aren’t on enough and don’t always contribute because we get caught up in the day. Kudos to you!

    Are you feeling unappreciated? Tender?
I say Lizzie will have a point of view on this. Haha

I don't know. I realize that everyone has different levels of interest and participation here. I try to stick to a few forums and not post all over the place.

No. I was just wondering. Contrary to popular belief, Lizzie and I are not attached at the hip (but I'm betting they are lovely hips indeed).:p

I have the same fears sometimes if I respond to a lot of posts...am I overdoing it...am I being annoying? You know what though, that’s what the forums are here for. Respond, engage, start conversations, make new friends!

I’m not sure about you and Lizzie’s hips so I’m unable and unwilling to go there!

As you all will have read, we're currently working on changing and streamlining the boards a little. To have more related issues in one place and hopefully make things easier to navigate for interested viewers as well as members.

BEK - I hope you're not mad at me that in this spirit I moved your thread to the Board Business Board - as this is a board and member question you are discussing.

To answer your question - I would say "no". From my observations the best indicator for overexposure on Dims is that people stop responding to what you post; in the vein of freezing out. As long as that's not the case, everything is fine.

BEK, first of all I agree with the others here. Second I'lI go farther and say that your degree of posting is actually catalyst for more people to get involved, and so is really valuable to the boards. I really appreciate that you are putting in the time and thought, it really helps the overall place.

Nope. Not mad in the least. Even after almost a year, I'm still learning the ropes.

I'm going to mirror what everybody else says and no, not in the slightest! Guys, seriously, all of you, post as much as you like, it's never too much. The mod team are constantly trying to think of ways to get more people posting and talking here so you are doing exactly what we want!

I used to get the same fears though, BEK, especially back when I had only been here a little while, so I understand the feeling. I was an absolute brat when I first started posting here though, hahaha. You can blame Tad and his kindness for me sticking around so long! But yeah, personally, I love to see your name in the recent posts lists, I look forwards to what you have to say. It isn't too much at all, and I'm happy to have somebody that is here as often as I am! (I don't always post much because I get anxious, but I spend a lot of time lurking around and doing mod things in the background)
