What do most people have, smart or regular? Iphone or Droid?
Me 4G LG Lucid Droid.
Regular, LG Envy 2.
I have an iphone 4.
Dude, can we iMessage?!?!
Also, for folks who've owned one or more (including Blackberry) what makes you prefer one over the other? And, is it "a scene?" (e.g. Iphone 3 was one type of "scene," but the first Droids were, kind of, a backlash against it?)
Probably! I'll send you my number and we can try
Droidx2. The phone is smarter than I am, so I'll be signing up for a class one day, when I get around to it.
Samsung Galaxy Note.
iPhone 4s. I've had iPhones since they first came out and just like the way they work. The latest has a camera good enough for stills and video so that I rarely take a dedicated camera along anymore. On the negative side, the 3.5-inch screen is starting to look and feel small now that a lot of new smartphones have larger screens.
I have owned 2 Blackberrys, and 2 Androids. One Android was a Samsung Apollo. The other is my tablet.
I sincerely miss my Blackberry and if I could reconnect it, I would.
Right now, I'm using a regular old phone. An LG Breeze. I bought it to replace my Android phone and I prefer it wayyy more.
I'd probably get an iPhone if I could afford it. I've had my iPod touch for years now (it's a 2nd gen and got it when it first came out) and I really like the way it works, and would love the iPhone 4s.
But that being said... I'm kind of in love with the Smasung Note. That's on a 4G LTE network, which is much better than what I'm on right now.
Oh... to have enough money to afford good phones..... Lol.
I have a Iphone 3GS
iPhone 4S and loving it!
I've actually found that Apple usually gets it right the first time around, and even older models are essentially as good as the latest.
For example, with the exception of the cameras, there is little difference between my original iPad and my 3rd generation iPad. All the hoopla over the retina screen is just that; in real life, the original iPad remains a perfectly good device, and it can be had for little money now.
Likewise, while I certainly love my iPhone 4s, it does the same as the iPhone 3Gs I had before. The better cameras are nice and the screen is certainly super-sharp, but in terms of what it can do, it's really no different from the older 3Gs, which, I believe, can now be had for free (with a contract, of course).
Oh, and anyone interested in reading about iPhone experiences and such, I just did an article on replacing batteries in old iPhones. See iPhone 3GS battery replacement: not for the timid.
*gasp* does that mean we can iMessage?!?!
No smart/cell phone for me. HUZZAH!
Does that mean we can interact in real life?!?
Haha. Next time you're up here, let me know.
Does this mean we can iMessage?!?!
What's up with you, Stalkasaurus?
