Today I finally gathered some courage to sort out my clothes, declutter my wardrobe. I have not finished yet, tomorrow I continue I get tired soon from the HF. Is anyone else also busy with this?

The new things I bought last year I put together. Made stacks of my sleepwear.
My housedresses together. I have a regular size wardrobe 120 cm width.

Removed clothes that got too little or too thight or just old.

I have 2 dresses saved 1979 and 1980 from my youth these would be vintage now I guess. Weird I was a size 14 back then and called much too fat. The dresses look small to me now.

i did this a few years ago. got rid of clothes that were super old, some i had kept for 'around the house comfy clothes' that were worn out, some of my old business suits i had not worn in awhile, clothes i just didn't wear anymore. it cleaned out about 1/2 of my closet. that of course gave me room to buy new ones ;)

I did this last year. I read and was inspired by Marie Kondo and "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up." The book helped me do it. I got rid of anything that didn't fit and I didn't love. It opened up space for new stuff I actually like to wear.

    I've just started the process.

I've got so many things that I never wear. I need to do a major closet purge and sell what I can sell and donate all the rest of the usable things. We have to declutter the entire house because we're moving this time next year. I hope to make some progress over the weekend.

I am going to donate some of the clothes I'll never fit in again when I get back.

Ugh, I started the closet clear out and realized that I bought SO many things that I never wore and never got around to returning. I took the tags off, hung them up, and there they stayed. Also things I wore once or twice and never again. Same with accessories and shoes. For a while, I got really excited about updating my wardrobe a while back, then went right back to wearing the same things that I always wore.

I do this all the time, but sometimes I get carried away. I lost a lot of weight once and was too quick to get rid of some really nice shirts and pants that I could wear now. :(

Been doing my wardrobe closet again. Got rid of all the leggings that do not fit anymore is in a bag for donations.
Two very old cotton shirts I cut into strips for household/cleaning cloths.
Folded away all my wraps and scarves as its very hot weather here.
Some of my house dresses are looking a bit washed out so have to get some new.
Maxi dresses put those away as it is way too hot for those.
Long sleeves sleepwear also folded those away.
Why are most clothes sold today polyester? I like cotton, cotton/linen, viscose or viscose/cotton, silk.

At it again. This time I write down on a piece of paper all the items I have worn at least once since last December
and if I can remember how many times worn I add that. Some dresses I have worn more than a dozen times.
I have 37 items on my page for the 7 months.

And here I am a year later, doing round 2 of the closet purge.

75% of the time, I wear tunics with leggings or tees with maxi skirts, and throw on a cardigan if it's cool out. So I'm getting rid of most of the rest. Why let it just hang there?

Doing some closet declutter again some things really need to get binned this time.Much many times worn favorites of which the elastic perished.Nothing worse than stirring hot soup and your pants drops to the floor. Omg...

I ripped the metaphorical band aid off and gathered up all the shoes I can't wear any longer due to trip and fall risk or foot swelling.

I donated a lot of them but will be trying to sell the never or lightly worn ones on Ebay.

It was rough. But needed to be done.

Same with clothes, donated a bunch, but listing a bunch too. I wear mostly pull up/over loose or stretchy clothes now.

And purses. I only carry big crossbody purses now, to make sure that I have everything I need close at hand. Why keep what no longer works for me?

I'm feeling the Marie Kondo effect too and I've got a couple pair of (size 46) jeans I no longer wear - I'm a 42 now - and I parted ways with a pair of size FIFTY jeans sometime last year. Shirts are next on the list, eventually.

Last week I got rid of a couple pair of sneakers (Airwalk and Nike) that I also realized I wasn't going to miss.
