Good ol' Upstate New York!
Yes, Gaiman never disappoints and I enjoyed The Ocean at the End of the Lane quite a bit.

I recently finished and enjoyed the Kim Newman book. While I don't know much about the guy, I do think he does marvelous research in his books and he definitely likes his horror movies and their history. It's not my favorite Newman book but I'm an old movie nerd and was entertained by the book.

Yes, if it's done correctly, I'd watch a movie with a team-up of Boris Karloff and Raymond Chandler solving bizarre crimes in 1930s Hollywood in a minute.

Enjoy that Neil Gaiman title! It's short but a but a good one.

I'm a big noir and crime fiction fan. Right now I'm buzzing through Michael Connelley's Bosch books. Some are good but none so far are great and some are downright lousy. But for me it's like binging a tv show — I have to finish!
