    Regaining weight...

I saw a study that suggested that in adults more fat cells start getting made when someone puts on more than 60% of their 'healthy' body weight. Whether this is 60% of the weight you settle at, or 60% of what it says on the BMI charts, and whether other scientists agree is another matter...

    Regaining weight...

I thought that fat cells only started to divide when all the existing ones reached a certain size- in practice meaning that someone would have to put on quite a lot of weight before new fat cells started to be produced... ...still easier to get fat second and third time round though..

Coming Out: Experiences, Stories and Advice Thread

A whole scrunchy bunch of situations- A girlfriend I really shouldn't have come out to, as it mixed really badly with her existing body image issues-she was small and desperately wanted to be smaller. She would have just been happier not knowing. A pair of close friends who are a bit fat...

    Regular Fa's V's Fa's with a twist?

thanks for the amazing posts guys. I have so much to add that I can barely add anything at the moment. But yeah, as someone who represents the full house, FA, and someone turned on by weight gain both in myself and in another I can confirm that it feels TOTALLY WIERD and makes relating to the...

    Gainers...satisfaction?

There may be a long-sunk thread that addresses this, but perhaps it's worth asking again... I'd be really interested to know, especially from anyone who has put on a significant amount of weight or achieved whatever quantitative or qualitative goals they were after when they started, whether...

    do YOU have "fatential"??

Mergirl, you have a mind with open eyes! In truth I think it is 'fatential' that I fancy more than actual fat...that ghost that turns and glistens in the air around someone, part of the richness and sensuality, bright colours and feelings, a trickle of fine wine, running down somewhere in the...

    Do FAs Understand Fatties?

I think, whatever a thin FA, or one who has put on a bit over the years may learn about their partner's life and needs, if you haven't grown up fat, you can't really know the experience. You can empathise, intellectualise and adjust somewhat, but there's something about growing up noticeably fat...

    Am I insane?

aye, I'm glad someone else feels like this...fat-admiration is natural, beautiful and totally compatible with everything else I hold dear in life...the weight gain kink...more awkward...but still an important part of me, but still awkward, but still an important part of me.... and so on!
