    BHM/SSBBW Car?

Chrysler products are always junk. I very rarely see a nice one. Had to put back together a 2011 Dodge Charger last week. it was junk. replacing the plastic/metal core support wasn't too bad, but as a mechanic, i'd never buy a Chrysler/Dodge/Mopar product. Tahoes are actually the best in...

    Obesity vs. fuel economy

ok. time to jump in, even if it is for just a moment. cars these days are heaps lighter than cars of old. the sheet metal is thinner, bumpers (and their reinforcements) are plastic, and for the most part cars are smaller than they used to be. just like a person can't out exercise a bad...

STUDY: Obesity Increases Driver's Risk of Being in a Car Accident

the real deal with people buying SUV's is that they are using them in place of a car most times. they often fail to realize or keep it on their mind that they are driving a truck.

STUDY: Obesity Increases Driver's Risk of Being in a Car Accident

did the seat mounts break? usually seat mounts and seat belt mounts are the most over sized and sturdy pieces of a vehicle. also in the situation you describe, i don't think there is very much the car makers could've done to prevent that.

    I Am Struggling With Depression

one day at a time is how i've been living my life for years. it's a pretty good system really. when you have a shitty, horrible day, you let it go and start again tomorrow. i know that several people in this thread have mentioned depression problems, and several have mentioned techniques and...

STUDY: Obesity Increases Driver's Risk of Being in a Car Accident

seatbelt material has enough tensile strength to tow a car. unless someone was heavy enough to rip 3 large bolts out of sheet metal, the seatbelt components are going to hold up.

Starting to gain, looking for advice, support

i've been using my new medications as a excuse to gain. my normal weight is probably in the 180-200 range. last november i missed my doctor's appointment and had a allergic reaction to a new SSRI i was trying. i ended up going off my medicine and losing about 50 lbs. i went through a major...

Serious help on rapid weight gain

50 lbs in six months is going to be a stretch if it's all new weight. it's not impossible but is quite difficult. basically i'm doing the same thing tho. as of about 6 months ago i weighed 190 lbs, had for years. but due to several factors coming together i dropped weight for about 4 months...

Vogue Writer Puts the Spotlight on 7 Year Old Daughter's Weight

i love how some of these people make such a huge deal out of 100 calories, like it's some large, dangerous, amount. the reality of it is that it's about a 30th of daily needs for an adult. maybe a 20th for a kid.

    Toxic Work Environment

to be honest. i actually wouldn't bring it up. the office you work in sounds like the kind of place that might let you go, since as you said earlier, they're all on the same page. yes you are in the right to complain about it, but that's not going to stop anybody or all of a sudden change...

Cars - What are you driving? (for fat drivers)

i was actually coming here to say me and my wife drive a 2002 Focus Station Wagon. it's really a pretty nice little car, it shares much of it's design with the Mazda 3 as well. i love ours. definitely a good, solid car.

    Heavily Every After on TLC

Morristown does have very cheap prices. it's out in the sticks a ways. i bet you can get a pretty nice house for rent out there in the $500-$750 a month range.
