    One Completely Random Sentence...

Never thought of it that way, but I suppose I can see the point of putting both on the name of a vehicle. :) It wouldn't make sense to Ram a Dodge, right?

    One Completely Random Sentence...

Dodge Ram... the only vehicle you avoid to hit head on. Aspire... it just really hopes to become a car. Probe... must've been a medical examiner for a colonoscopy who named it. Gremlin... need I say more?

how many people here are in southern california?

I missed all these opportunities to "hang out" with y'all. Been super busy with work, the kids, and my author events. I'd still love to meet some of you if possible. I don't know if any of you live in the Inland Empire areas of Upland, Montclair, Claremont, or closer to Ontario, but I have two...

    Southern California Author Events

Hi there! I know this isn't really related to FA/BBW issues, but as an author still trying to make it in the industry, I thought I put a shameless plug for my three southern California events coming up this month and next. Please see the flyer. I'd really love to meet readers, fans, or...

Favorite Cartoons from the 80s and 90s

OMG, yes! I loved Battle of the Planets when I was a kid. It was a precursor to Voltron, but there were other shows that came out while I was in junior high. Ever watch Robotech? I loved that series and all the futuristic techy stuff.

    Fat perception in different races

I'm Filipino-American, and I have been fat since I was in the second grade. When I was growing up, it was very hurtful that my mother and father felt the need to "apologize" for my appearance. Mom tried to put me on diets as early as third grade, even though doctors told her to just let me be a...

Don't know why I remembered this old M&M's commercial from when I was a kid. Still makes me giggle when I see the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx8DO-yeUyA

Post an Old Music Video from "Back in the Day"

This has been stuck in my head on and off over the past few years. Wind of Change by Scorpions. Wish I could just bust out into interpretive dance as a result, but that would just be scary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4RjJKxsamQ

Frisk the person before you, and......

Frisked luvmybhm and found two small bodies laying next to me. Oh wait... those are my kiddos. I think there may be a Matchbox Funny Car and a miniature toy train stabbing my butt too. Hey! There's my hubby on one of the kids' beds. Sucks to be him tonight.

    Truths-Answer a question/Ask a question.

A: Will most likely be drinking something lightly fizzy that makes me smile... probably Alka-Seltzer if my hubby ends up cooking. Q: If you could go back in time and talk to the person you were 10 years ago, what advice would you give yourself?

    Totally Inappropriate Music for Weddings

How funny... "The Bitch is Back" was something my boss played for me when I came back from being sick and on disability leave for six months. Not the best welcome back song, but it was accurate at the time.
