By next month I should be in a position to afford a new game. I'm really out of the loop when it comes to new games these days. Civilization V, Galactic Civilizations II: Twilight of the Arnor, and Victoria II are all on my shopping list.

I need more recommendations, please!

To give you an idea of what I like, here are the genres that appeal to me most: 4X, Strategy, Sim, Historical, and Logic puzzles. I absolutely hate First Person Shooters, Fight games, and Sports sims. Any other suggestions are very welcome.
