BRITAIN'S bigger girls have a bone to pick with high-end department store Selfridges for squeezing them out.

Larger ladies are asking what's your beef, after the flagship London store closed its plus-size section.

Half the women in the country are a US size 14 and above, yet you'll be hard pushed to find anything in those sizes on display in Selfridges.

A London store assistant admitted, "The biggest we sell in Selfridges is a US size 14. We stopped our plus size range a couple of weeks ago."

Cheryl Hughes, who runs plus size modeling agency Hughes Models, said, "Half the country need US size 14 or bigger. It's disgusting that Selfridges won't sell them."

A Selfridges spokeswoman said, "Selfridges is constantly updating its brand mix. This is also reflected in the sizing we offer."
Not the righ direction. Still, someone else will likely move into that patch of the market and rake in the sales.
