Working on retconning some origin for a character for a Teen Supers role playing game I'm currently playing in.
Reason I mention it here, is she was mind controlled by her archnemesis, Dr. Pygmalion, aka her Meta Specialist doctor, Dr. Spasti. To gain incredible amounts of weight over the course of a year without realising she's doing it. The subsequent triggering of her water powers, and his release of his delusion over her makes her think she gained it overnight and that it's linked to her powers.
I have her in the hospital under observation by her arch nemesis, who she doesn't know is up to no good. The reason he did this, is his style of beauty is the antithesis of societal beauty, and he's insecure enough to think if he brings her self-esteem low enough when she's away from him, that she'll come running back to him with no choice but to love him.
I know, not PC fat admiration, plus she's a 14 year old now, but he's a VILLAIN.
Her issues are to be resolved during game, as well as Dr. Pygmalion, but I'm setting up theissues now.
