Getting Jeans (and other pants) Tailored?

Do any of you take your pants to a tailor/seamstress to make them fit right?

I'm apple-shaped, so, when I buy jeans that fit in the waist they don't fit anywhere else. I feel like I got a saggy-diaper on sometimes. That is how droopy they get. :blush:

I need a fix for this problem. ASAP.
