Rather interestingly I had a mewing kitty cat arrive on my first floor office window this evening. So said mewing kitty got a lift inside and help out the front door... (it belongs to the neighbour). A little while later I went around to the yard gate and found a poor hedgehog (obviously what the kitty cat was after) curled up against the gate. I didn't really know what to do with it, nor had I any idea how it got in the yard since it's surrounded by brick walls...

Since it seemed a bit upset I left it be... what does anyone reckon? I don't want to make it homeless at this time of year nor have I any idea what to do with my new visitor!

I'm hoping it may have made tracks by the morning back to safety...
