I am thinking of planning a little jaunt to New York sometime late summer early autumn this year, hopefully with a couple of other Brits if they're free. I was hoping on getting a little info from you lovely people on all the good stuff to consider whilst planning. Where are the best places to stay, nice cheap hotels, place to eat, shop, check out some live music etc etc. I was thinking of maybe a week in mid-sept after the school holidays. Any tips?
