A lot has happened in that short year. Someone outed me to my brewclub, so if they can know my friends at DIMS deserve to know. I've joined up with and I'm helping these guys. http://www.therlsh.net/forum.htm
Pretty crazy, huh? Yeah, there are some nutjobs in spandex and do-nothings that sit behind their computer screens and make up shit, but there are also a few people doing very real things. I've gone out with some of them. About 1/2 of them have no presence on the internet at all, and many have no visible 'costume'. There really ARE highly trained people out there who devote their lives to helping others, and you might have NO idea they are there.

Besides me, there is another BHM and even a SSBHM in the community. Apocalypse Meow is a SSBBW and runs a blogtalk radio show that has been running for years. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/profile.aspx?userurl=meowandfriends Just keep in mind the call-in radio show is mostly community members unwinding and socializing, there really isn't a whole lot of hero talk going on.
Theresa is actually the one that suggested I join them. She has even allowed me to use my on-call and overtime income for a research budget.
So much for thinking I was one of the more well-adjusted guys on DIMS...
