Mini Bash Luncheon Location Update
Our friends who are attending the "End Of Winter Mini Bash" have spoken, and we have listened!

At our last event in September, 2007, we ate lunch at the very famous Harolds New York Style Deli in Edison, NJ. Over 60 people attended the lunch, and no one left hungry!

We posted some pics from the deli on several websites, and people who did not attend the bash were astounded by the portions. Sooooooo, many of those people are attending this event, and we've had many of them request that we return to Harolds Deli, so they can experience the awesome food and service there.

As a result, we're pleased to say that we will be returning to Harolds Deli on Saturday, March 29th. It's about a 20 minute ride from the Holiday Inn in Springfield, so we'll have to leave around 11:30 to make a 12 noon reservation. Trust us, it's worth it!!

Here's a quick review of Harolds:
Harold's is not your neighborhood deli -- it's a New York deli on steroids. The colossal pastrami, corned beef and brisket sandwiches are stuffed with heaping mounds of tender meat on freshly baked bread. There's no room for garnish or accompaniments on these plates, so a visit to the extensive all-you-can-eat pickle bar is a must. You'll find everything from kosher to half sour to pickle chips to hot peppers. If you don't want a sandwich for dinner, the monster matzo ball soup, potato pancakes and goulash are all specials of the house. You won't have room left, but you'll still want to order dessert. Just the experience of digging into a slice of 1-foot-high cheesecake or chocolate cake is enough for most folks. No joke, the eclair is the size of a football player's forearm. Harold's is large, comfortable and casual, which is perfect, as it may take you a while to finish even half your meal. (You'll go home with the other half.) The New York City theme is reflected in the black-and-white photos of old New York City and Manhattan celebrities. -- Naomi Imatome Yun

So, we are again taking RSVP's for the luncheon, as Harolds can accomodate more people than our previous restaurant choice. Please let us know if you plan to attend the luncheon. We will also help you arrange a ride, if you've taken air or rail transportation to get to the event.
