...This is my first time doing this sooooo I'm slightly shy but what the heck!
I know I'm not the only closet-sap/romantic out there...and I figure it's time we all embrace it! :wubu:
Post a link to one of your favorite sappy/romantic moments in film, or just say what it is! Also feel free to explain why you love it so!
I already posted a link of Gene Kelly's Singing in the Rain in another thread, so here's two other favorites of mine:
1. "I Wonder" from Disney's Sleeping Beauty
http://youtu.be/YLn9IMNPxG4
This was one of my favorite films growing up, and this song in particular always strikes a cord with me, being lonely and wondering when you'll have someone to love too.
2. "Shall We Dance?" The King and I
http://youtu.be/PdyqmN5cnRQ
Okay, it's not a true story, but it'd be gosh darn amazing if it was. The sexual tension between these two UGH! Their complex relationship is even more wonderfully portrayed in the fairly recent Anna and the King film. (I can't decide if I like Yul Brenner or Chow Yun-Fat better! :eat2
http://youtu.be/q3K8Z4Jg1ic (A fan-made music video for Anna and the King, contains spoliers and a Sting song.)
