Doomsday Preppers - what would you have to offer?

The most important survival skill I have? I can make alcohol. Very good alcohol. It's guaranteed to be safe to drink and something always in high demand. Also, I'm a damn good cook, I can hunt and fish well, am a competent enough sailor, I'm very skilled at growing crops and keeping them healthy...

    Thinking of moving to Vegas

I've been out in Las Vegas since last June also. Rent is more reasonable than back home in California. My Sid has a great 2 bed/ 2 bath condo for $1k/mo with all utilities (except electricity) and cable/Internet included. The best values come from buying homes, not renting. Some friends of mine...

So who's going to the Vegas Bash 2012???

It's at Gold Coast this year??? Great! I live about 10min away! :D It's a great place. Everybody should try Ping Pang Pong! It's the best Dim Sum I've had outside of Chinatown SF. The rooms are excellent I hear.

Beer (Can it be considered food? lol)

So there are only a few hundred certified Cicerones in the world. That is essentially a beer sommelier. I'm one of them. To respond to the thread's title- yes, beer is food. It is a consumable source of calories and nutrients. That makes it food. Earlier there was a question regarding...

    Fish Out of Water

Maybe YOU are exactly the type of girl he has always wanted and hasn't had the stones to go for until now. Maybe he overcompensated by surrounding himself with society's standard paradigm of beauty and is now looking to be himself. I'm just playing devil's advocate here. I'd say try to be...

    2012 Singles Thread

    Feeding cruises

This is an OUTSTANDING idea!!! I fully support it. I've been trying to go to a bash for year without success (living in Vegas now ought to help with that though) and a cruise sounds like the best idea for one yet. So what would be the ideal destinations? How would something like this get...

    Fat sex with a non-FA

I don't think you've got all too much to fret over. As you've said, this guy knows what you look like. Sure, you haven't been under the sheets with him yet but he definitely knows what you look like and he's interested. You say he's not an FA. No worries. I call myself an equal opportunist too...

    2012 Singles Thread

Yesterday genuinely sucked a dozen goats. Started my day off by seeing that an ex I still care for is engaged. Then a girl I've known since I was 5 was coming out to see me. We've been talking a lot lately and things would progress this weekend. Nope. She arrived with another old friend from...

I love his facial hair, but...

It gets softer as it grows out. If he doesn't wantto rock a beard like yours truly I would suggest something like lavender oil. I use a pre-shave oil from The Art of Shaving every day for shaving purposes and to soften the hair of my beard. It works very well. You can find them online.

    2011 Singles thread

Still single but absolutely hating it now. Since moving to Las Vegas my dating life has completely died! I used to go out on a date AT LEAST every other week but all I do is work now. The hours keep me from going out and meeting people but even if I did those hours also ensure I only meet the...

    Vegas in November

You're missing their next party by 2 days. Sorry :( I'll look for other sites for you also. I live out in Vegas these days actually and have the events magazines in a stack so I'll rummage through those too.

    Feeding Restaurants

This is a very fun idea but the niche market appeal is severely limiting. It is also going to be hard to develop a stock of regular customers due to the novelty aspect of the plan, with the exception of the rare actual gainer enjoying purposefully high colorie meals. Consider how high the rate...
