The Polaris Prize honours the best in Canadian independent music. This year's award winner was the Toronto band "Fucked Up" which I've seen variously described as "Hardcore," "Punkcore" or "Popcore." I guess they are "core" at the very least 
Anyway, their singer seems to have a habit of taking off his shirt, showing off the well-haired torso of his apparently 300 pound body. I could not find any pictures from the award show of him like that, but if you go to the band's myspace page and look through the pics you'll find plenty.
