Any Kuchen lovers out there?

I had forgotten about this yummy desert...but came across it in my recipe book this week. My mom used to make it for us all the time when I was a kid. It is a German dessert, I think, and can be made with different types of fruit. This pic is of an apple kuchen...we've also used apricots or peaches. Taste is sort of like a cheese danish with fruit...
